Welcome to the PCRD blog. First things first, PCRD is the Purdue Center for Regional Development. We have a regular website but are experimenting with this blog in an attempt to encourage creative thinking, network building, and idea exchange about regional development in Indiana, across the nation, and throughout the world.
Here's the PCRD elevator pitch - we do applied research, policy analysis, and technical assistance to address high-priority regional needs and policy issues; we help create networks and partnerships; and we assist with regional strategic planning.
Not exactly a cereal jingle but that's us in a nutshell.
